I am 63, a lesbian, and was an anti-war activist during the Vietnam War. I'm also against the wars in Iraq and Afganistan. BUT, I will walk along side any gay or lesbian member of the military for their right to serve their country openly. Personally, I wouldn't go overseas and participate in a war until this country repealed DADT. What if every gay member of all the services came out on the same day and said, "OK, now what"?
