In Their Boots is a sweeping, 10-episode series about how the people in America are affected by the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Each half-hour episode features characters who are grappling with issues like finding mental health services when you fall through the cracks of the VA system; re-learning basic life functions on the road to recovery from a traumatic brain injury (TBI); and living with the frustration of making all the wartime sacrifices of military spouses but having to hide your relationship with your deployed same-sex partner. The series is produced by Brave New Foundation. |
